It’s all about the nuts

Our entrepreneurial fitness client came to us with an idea – to develop and launch a natural, home-grown nut butter full of flavour, natural and all about the nuts. Following an extensive research process that saw us delving into best practices – both in and out of category – we provided valuable insights to help position the brand. Our main insight “It’s all about nuts” was the starting point of the strategy, integrating a humorous and personal tone to educate the consumer.

By creating the name, Nood, provided us with an opportunity to develop a character packed with cheekiness and personality. The two ‘o’s’ within the brandmark reflect a face, giving the brand an instantly approachable look and feel. The creation of handwritten fonts provided a connection to the brand’s promise of being pure. Additionally, the use of a fluorescent colour palette was an opportunity for us to completely re-invent the category and challenge the current perception of healthy, nutritious products.

Nood’s identity and packaging did exactly this. It clearly reflects the personality of the brand and the purity of the product.
